January Trip to the Bahamas!

Next week, starts "Realtor relief, vacation, slow me down, take a month off season.  You know.  If you have sold real estate for one full year, then you probably  experienced this temporary slow down.  Yes, it's always slow from Thanksgiving on.  Tell yourself that.  Tell yourself that you will not have closings, sales or prospects in December.  You will probably be right.  If you believe and act upon it, it will happen!  So as the saying goes--"good luck with that plan!"  Here's the good news, if you don't work in December, January will be the perfect vacation month.   It's called "keeping the pipeline full."  If you have no January pipeline, then you can go for two weeks to the Bahamas!

Did I mention, this is not an "expense paid" trip!

So here are my random thoughts on possibly enjoying an "expense paid" trip, anywhere you want.  First, realize that just because the weather is cool and people decorate with pumpkins, the race is not over.  If you think its over,  you will be looking for the "next leg, fresh start, etc!"  Bad thoughts processing here.  Stop looking for a fresh start, today move forward and improve.  Avoid the down time naturally occurring down time brought about as you look forward to a new beginning. No problem with new and improved for the next year, just don't give up on this year.
The plants won't grow, if you don't plant them.  What will you plant in the next six months?  Hint:  go for the perennials!

Now that we have that garden stuff out of the way, consider this these thoughts:

Time is what you make it.
Time is man made.
Time is what we do to ourselves and finally,
Time is something we have plenty of.

Andy Warhol once said: "They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself."
Hmmmm.

What do you plan to do with your time, today?
Tomorrow?
Next week?
Next year?

Keep running, you just started this race!

There I said it, 'cause somebody had to!  Were ya listening?
