Today started like any Realtor's day, a meeting followed by a closing.
This closing would likely go without notice, my listing, former client; no problems.
From the buyer's perspective, things looked a little different!
Poor newlywed couple, they only wanted a home.
Here is the hill they had to climb:
1. Original offer, 25,000 less than the final closed price. Seller was firm after one counter.
2. Agreement was contingent upon sale of buyer's home.
3. Buyer's home never sold; leased instead.
4. First lender (family friend, unheard of by the Realtor world) totally dropped the ball after 2 months.
5. Rescue lender got sick and failed all communication tests., but the money showed up! Alas,The Closing company, as usual, did a "whiz bang" kinda job!
Ok, here I go again, somebody's gotta say it--the truth is-- this kinda deal can go south~~FAAAAAST!
Enter: Debbie, the buyer's Realtor. Her buyer, was good buyer, with a tough scenario. I will not only refer you to the previous 5 hardships, but I will add to that, the forces of the real estate world were against this transaction! It seemed each phone call was one more hurdle; but never a disagreement between us. Our conversations were ALWAYS resolution centered. No conflict emerged from the tough moments. Our agenda's were the same: to finish the transaction in the shortest amount of time, bringing contentment to both buyer and seller. This agenda cannot be one-sided. As they say, "it takes two." Debbie, thanks for playing the second part so professionally! We are "done." Everybody is happy!
There, I said it and I hope you heard it!
NOTE: THIS COMMENT THING HAD ME BEAT TILL I DETERMINED YOU COULD JUST CALL YOURSELF "ANONYMOUS" AND LEAVE COMMENTS. SO DO IT! PLEASE.
Just sayin'—‘cause somebody has to! The truth about real estate as an investor and as a Realtor needs a voice. Real estate is a great way to make a really good income; but all, is not as it seems. Unfortunately, most investors and Realtors have major egos (and that's ok, they need'em), so sometimes we have to filter and factor what is said. My job is to tell you the truth with no factor and let you filter!
